If your order is above our delivery minimum for your area, then delivery is free! If you do not meet the minimum, a delivery fee will be applied. The delivery fee is $7.50 for Vancouver, Richmond, New Westminster and Burnaby, $10 for North and West Vancouver, Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, and $15 for all other areas.

If you have ordered a pre-order item, we will schedule your delivery for the next delivery date in your area after that item has arrived.
If your order total is at least twice the delivery minimum for your area, we can deliver all available items on the next delivery day, and schedule a second delivery for your pre-order item once it has arrived in-store. Please let us know if you would like to receive two deliveries in the “notes” section at checkout.

You will earn 1 point for every dollar that you spend, and you can redeem points as soon as your next order. 100 points is equal to $1 off your total.
Some food companies offer a frequent buyer program to reward their loyal customers. Participating brands are Primal, Grand Cru, K9 and Feline Naturals, Smack, and Ziwi Peak. When you purchase any of these foods, your purchase will be entered on a frequent buyer card. Once you’ve purchased the required quantity (10-12 bags), you will receive a free bag of food! We will notify you once you have a free bag available.
At this time, we do not ship our products nationally or internationally, but it is something we are working on for the future. Check back soon!

Unless you request a specific day, you can expect your order to arrive on the next delivery day in your area. Please see our colour-coded map or your city’s icon for what days we deliver to your neighbourhood.
In general, our cut-off to accept deliveries is 10:30 AM on the same day of delivery in your area.
There are some instances where our drivers may still available to accept deliveries after 10:30. If you’ve missed this deadline and cannot wait until the next delivery day in your area, give us a call at 604-267-3647 to find out if we still have a driver available to take your order.
Because we handle so many deliveries across the Lower Mainland, we cannot provide an exact time of delivery. If you’re concerned about not being home at the time of delivery or don’t want to wait around all day, simply add an insulated bag to your order, and we can drop it at your door so your pet’s food is waiting for you when you get home!
Please let us know in the notes section of your order if you need your delivery within a certain time frame, such as if you’re having it delivered to your workplace and must have it delivered before you leave. We cannot guarantee any delivery time, but we will do our best to accommodate and let you know if we need to make alternate arrangements.
No! We are happy to leave your order at your door for you. If you order frozen items, please leave out an insulated bag or cooler to keep your items frozen until you get home. We can also provide you with insulated bags for a completely refundable $7.50 deposit per bag. Please select how many bags you require at checkout. Each bag can hold approximately 25lbs of food.
If you won’t be home at the time of delivery and don’t have a cooler or insulated bags to put your order in, we’ve made available our own insulated bags for a deposit of $7.50 each which is fully refundable once the bags are returned to us. Each bag can hold approximately 25lbs of food, and will keep your items frozen for several hours.
During checkout, there is an option to add these bags to your order after you’ve confirmed your billing and shipping address, and before you enter your payment method and finalize your order.
In the event that you aren’t available at the time of delivery and have not paid a bag deposit, we will make every attempt to contact you to seek permission to leave your order without a bag, or allow you to pay for any insulated bags needed. If we are not able to reach you, we will consider the delivery failed. You will be able to pick up your order from our store, or we can attempt delivery again on the next delivery date in your area, for the applicable delivery fee for your delivery zone.
There are many options if you live in an apartment and won’t be home at the time of delivery.
- If you can buzz us into the building from your cell, we can leave your order at your door.
- You could ask a neighbour or building manager to let us into the building if you are unable to remotely.
- You can provide us with a door code or key to access the building.
- We can leave your order with the concierge.
- Have us deliver to your workplace instead.
If none of these options are available to you, please let us know when you will be home for us to arrange a delivery time.
If we are unable to leave your order at your door, we will make every effort to contact you (please note that our delivery drivers phones do not show up as True Carnivores on caller ID), but if we are unable to deliver to you, there will be a delivery fee applied for a second delivery attempt.
You can also provide us with an alternate contact number, or specify if you are better reached by text than phone call, to maximize our ability to contact you to arrange delivery.
Of course. When you checkout, we will give you the option of delivery or pick up. You will still earn points towards discounts on pick up orders.
At True Carnivores we understand that sometimes things happen, with that in mind we are always happy to take back our products and offer a refund or an exchange within 14 days of purchase. We offer a full satisfaction guarantee and give you a full/partial refund on any items you are not satisfied with; With exclusion to any nutraceuticals or supplements.
True Carnivores will only be able to accept any returns/exchanges with the product in its original outer packaging. Due to the fact that we will be needing the box codes or production dates to trace.
Dry Items: With any dehydrated, freeze-dried, air- dried, or any kind of “dry” products True Carnivores is only able to take back the product if there is 75% or more left in the bag. If less, we will take back the food but no refund will be applied.
Raw Items: With any kind of raw foods we are happy to refund/exchange your product for you in store, the food must not show any signs of thawing and refreezing.
We have a few different ways that we accept returns. We can either pick the product up when we drop off your next order, or you can come down to our lovely storefront in Kerrisdale for a quick hello and a refund! It’s that simple.
In the event that you will not be placing another order and wish to return a product, there will be a $10 pick-up fee for Vancouver & Richmond, and a $10 pick-up fee for Burnaby, New West, Ladner, Tsawwassen, North & West Van.
“Oh no! I won’t be home for when my delivery comes? What should I do?” Have no fear, True Carnivores is here… and we come with freezer bags! In the event that you are unable to be home for your delivery, True Carnivores offers freezer bags with a $7.50 fully refundable bag deposit.
