Back 2 Basics Bison Tripe Bites are single-ingredient, raw green bison tripe cut into convenient cubes for easy feeding. Naturally rich in digestive enzymes and beneficial bacteria, green tripe is a powerful addition to a DIY raw dog food diet or a simple way to upgrade your dog’s current meals.
Recommended for dogs only — most cats are deterred by tripe’s strong natural aroma.
Why Feed Green Tripe?
Green tripe supports healthy digestion, increases meal excitement for picky eaters, and adds novel protein variety to a rotational raw feeding plan. It counts as a muscle meat component in a balanced raw diet — not organ and not bone.
How to Use
Replace 10–20% of your dog’s muscle meat portion with tripe when building a DIY raw diet. If using as a topper, add 1–2 oz per meal for a medium-sized dog and adjust based on size and tolerance.
New to tripe? Start small and increase gradually while monitoring stool consistency.
Tripe can also be served thawed as a high-value training reward or added to enrichment toys for extra motivation.
Green tripe is not a complete meal. A balanced raw diet should also include secreting organs (like liver and kidney), edible bone or a calcium source, and additional muscle meats for proper nutrient balance.
