How much does delivery cost?

Delivery is free on orders over $75 (before tax) within our local delivery zones, including:

  • Lower Mainland
  • Fraser Valley
  • Sea-to-Sky Corridor
  • Sunshine Coast

For orders under $75, a $10 delivery fee applies.

*Sunshine Coast orders include a $5 surcharge to help cover the additional ferry costs required to deliver to this area.

Do you deliver outside your local zone?

We currently deliver within our local zones to ensure freshness and reliability. But exciting news: Canada-wide shipping is launching soon for dry goods like treats, supplements, and freeze-dried foods. Stay tuned!

Can I make changes to my order?

Absolutely! We're happy to help with updates—here’s how:

➕ To add items:
Just place a second order and leave a note at checkout asking us to combine it with your first (include the original order number if possible).

Make sure to place the add-on order before the 6pm cut-off for next-day delivery.

If a delivery fee is charged on your second order, we’ll automatically refund it when we process your order.

❌ To cancel or remove items:
Call us at 604-267-3647 or email info@truecarnivores.com as soon as possible so we can catch it before your order goes out.

✏️ To update delivery details (address, phone, etc.):
Please contact us directly by phone or email—we’ll update your info to make sure your order gets to the right place, on time.

When will my delivery arrive?

Deliveries head out by 9:30am, and our drivers are on the road through the early evening.

The time of your delivery will depend on your area, our route, and factors like order volume, traffic, and weather.

If you won’t be home during the day, we recommend:

  • Leaving out a cooler
  • Ordering an insulated freezer bag at checkout
  • Or having your order delivered to your workplace if that’s more convenient

You’ll receive a delivery ETA and live tracking link the morning of your delivery.

Can I request a delivery time window?

Yes, you're welcome to request a delivery window (minimum 2-hour timeframe between 9am-5pm). Just leave your request in the notes at checkout.

While we’ll do our best to accommodate, please note that delivery windows cannot be guaranteed. To keep our delivery service fast, reliable, and free, we need the flexibility to route our drivers as efficiently as possible.

In some cases, certain areas can’t be accommodated at specific times due to routing limitations, traffic patterns, or distance. If we’re unable to meet your request, we’ll reach out with alternative options.

If you're not going to be home, we recommend:

  • Leaving out a cooler
  • Purchasing a freezer bag at checkout
  • Or having your order delivered to your workplace if that’s easier

Do I need to be home to receive my order?

Not necessarily.

If your order contains frozen items, you can:

  • Leave out a cooler or freezer bag
  • Purchase one of our insulated bags at checkout for $10
  • Add drop-off instructions in the notes at checkout

Without coolers or permission to leave frozen items, we can’t leave your order unattended. If we can't reach you, the delivery will be returned to our delivery centre.

I live in an apartment—how does delivery work?

No problem! Here are your options:

  • Provide a buzzer code so we can deliver to your door
  • Arrange for us to leave it with your concierge or front desk (please confirm they accept food or frozen items)
  • Supply a door code or access key
  • Have your order delivered to your workplace
  • Leave out a cooler for frozen goods

If none of these work, contact us to coordinate a time that fits your schedule—we’ll do our best to make it work.

What happens if I miss my delivery?

If we’re unable to complete your delivery—whether due to building access issues, no cooler or freezer bag left out for frozen items, or lack of permission to leave the order unattended—your order will be returned to our delivery centre.

You can:

  • Reschedule delivery (a $10 re-delivery fee applies)
  • Pick up for free at:
    - East Van: 1608 Kingsway
    - Kerrisdale: 5961 West Blvd
    - South Van: 358 East Kent Ave South

Can I pick up my order instead?

Absolutely! Choose in-store pickup at checkout—you’ll still earn loyalty points.

We’ll email or call when your order is ready. Please wait for confirmation before heading to the store, as online inventory may differ from in-store availability.
