Product Description
Product Description
Half-pound patties. Red & white proteins. Whole-prey variety.
The Carnivora Variety Box is a 24 lb bulk box of whole-prey raw food for dogs and cats, designed for feeders who value variety and simplicity. Each box contains a 50/50 mix of red and white proteins, portioned into ½-lb patties and made without fruits or vegetables.
White proteins may include: chicken, turkey, duck, or rabbit
Red proteins may include: beef, lamb, or goat
Proteins are not individually labeled or separated, making this box best suited for pets without food sensitivities who thrive on dietary variety. All recipes follow Carnivora’s prey-model approach using meat, bone, organs, blood, and fat in natural ratios.
This is a freezer-friendly, no-fuss option for multi-pet households and experienced raw feeders who rotate proteins regularly.

Is it complete and balanced?
Yes, when fed as part of a rotational raw diet. The Variety Box is designed to provide protein diversity over time rather than single-protein precision at each meal.
Important note
Because individual proteins are not labeled, this product is not recommended for pets with known food sensitivities or allergies.
Pro tip:
With whole-prey diets, natural variation in colour, texture, or smell is normal. You may also notice liquid when thawing due to blood and natural moisture. Stir it back in to retain nutrients.
Clean prey-model nutrition. Built-in rotation. No fillers. No shortcuts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Does Whole Prey Food Vary in Colour, Texture, or Fat Content?
Why Does Whole Prey Food Vary in Colour, Texture, or Fat Content?
Whole prey diets are minimally processed and designed to reflect how animals are consumed in nature. Because of this, natural variation is normal and expected. Animals are individuals. Factors such as species, size, age, season, diet, and farm of origin all influence how the meat looks and feels. Red meats like goat and lamb, in particular, can vary significantly. Unlike supermarket meat, whole prey proteins are not colour-graded or standardized. Variation is a hallmark of true whole prey feeding. Whole prey diets are intentionally less processed and less manipulated. Over-processing and heavy blending can create a uniform appearance, but that comes at the cost of moving away from a natural, biologically appropriate food. We’ve been offering whole prey diets for over 30 years, and natural variation has always been part of feeding this way.
Why Do Recipe-Based Raw Diets Look More Consistent?
Why Do Recipe-Based Raw Diets Look More Consistent?
Recipe-based diets are made using measured amounts of muscle meat, organs, and bone that are blended together to achieve a uniform appearance. While this can look more consistent, it is not the same as feeding whole prey. Whole prey diets use the animal as it exists, with minimal processing, which is why variation occurs.
Is Whole Prey Still Complete and Balanced If It Looks Different?
Is Whole Prey Still Complete and Balanced If It Looks Different?
Yes. Whole prey diets are formulated to be complete and balanced over time. Visual differences do not affect nutritional adequacy. In nature, animals do not eat identical meals every day. Variety and natural fluctuation are part of optimal nutrition.
