Product Description

Whole-animal chicken. Mini patties. Freeze-dried convenience.

Pixies Freeze-Dried Chicken Mini Patties are made from whole chicken, including muscle meat, bone, organs, blood, and fat. The recipe uses the bird without the head, feet, feathers, or intestines, with nothing added.

The patties contain approximately 66% muscle meat, 7% bone, 8% organs, 7% blood, and 10% fat. Organs include lungs, liver, heart, and kidneys.

Chicken naturally contains more fat than many other whole-animal proteins because the skin is included. When rehydrated, these patties have the same nutritional qualities as Carnivora’s frozen Pixies.

The Benefits

✔ Single-protein chicken
✔ Whole-animal ingredients: meat, bone, organs, blood, and fat
✔ Includes lungs, liver, heart, and kidneys
✔ Nothing added to the recipe
✔ Freeze-dried format for convenience
✔ Rehydrates to the nutritional equivalent of frozen Pixies

How to Feed

Rehydrate before serving and follow the feeding instructions on the bag. Supplement as needed to meet your pet’s nutritional requirements.

Pro tip:
Consider your pet’s activity level when choosing proteins. Carnivora notes that chicken’s higher fat and omega-6 content may make it unsuitable for less active dogs or those with inflammatory conditions or skin issues.

Ingredients

Whole chicken, including muscle meat, bone, lungs, liver, heart, kidneys, blood, and fat. Excludes the head, feet, feathers, and intestines.

Serving Tips

Heads Up, Fresh Feeders:

Nature isn’t uniform—
and that’s a good thing.
With whole-prey diets, it’s completely normal to see slight variations in colour or smell from one batch to the next. These natural changes reflect the seasons, regional sourcing, and what the animals were fed. It’s all part of feeding fresh, just as nature intended.

About Those Patties:
Each Carnivora patty is hand-cut using a saw blade. Occasionally, this process leaves visible surface marks. With fattier proteins like chicken, pork, or lamb, the blade may cause faint “burn marks” where fat briefly meets friction. While we cool the blade between cuts to prevent this, cosmetic marks can still happen. They’re totally harmless and won’t affect the safety, nutrition, or quality of your pet’s food.

Featured Ingredients

We have high standards

There’s only one thing we’re serious about, and that’s high-quality food for pets. We source only human-grade meats and natural ingredients, the majority of which are from HACCP-certified facilities—the same as human food. Because pet food should be real food.

  • Diced raw beef on a wooden cutting board with a knife

    Liver

Liver delivers a concentrated source of vitamin A, iron, and B vitamins to support vision, red blood cell production, and metabolic function. It also provides essential minerals that promote immune health and overall organ function.

  • Kidney

Kidney offers a natural supply of selenium, vitamin B12, and iron to help support detoxification, red blood cell health, and thyroid function. Its nutrient profile also contributes to balanced mineral intake for optimal organ health.

  • Heart

A natural source of taurine and essential B vitamins, heart supports cardiovascular function, cellular energy, and eye health. Its concentration of minerals like iron and zinc also helps maintain strong muscles and a healthy immune system.
