Serving Tips

Expect a little snow: You might notice ice crystals or slight freezer burn on some patties. That’s totally normal. Because raw food holds a lot of moisture, even a small amount of air in the packaging can draw that moisture out. It doesn’t affect safety—just appearance. Think of it as nature’s version of freeze-drying.

Not vacuum-sealed? Still safe. Bold By Nature uses thermo-form packaging, which is different from vacuum-sealing. Patties are frozen before packaging, which can make it hard for the plastic to fully conform to each patty’s shape. But don’t worry—because the food is already frozen, there’s no risk of contamination. These meals are still safe, nutritious, and ready for your cat’s bowl.

Feeding tip: Rotate proteins regularly and consult with your vet or feline nutrition resource to ensure balanced raw feeding.
