Deliveries are done Monday through Friday! We do our best to estimate times for you but sometimes the weather and the traffic say otherwise – The hours written below are a rough guideline for easier scheduling. If you are outside our “mapped delivery zone” please give us a call to arrange a delivery date and time.
Richmond & New Westminster – Late morning to early afternoon
Burnaby – Afternoon
South Vancouver, Kitsilano, East Vancouver, UBC – Early afternoon
Downtown Vancouver – Mid/late afternoon to evening
North & West Vancouver – Tuesday & Thursday early afternoon
Ladner & Tsawwassen – Monday early afternoon
Squamish – Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month
Not home? No worries! Ask about our reusable thermal insulated tote bags – offered for a refundable $7.50 deposit!
Unless you specify a delivery day, we will get the delivery to you on the next coming delivery day. If you place your order on one of the delivery days before the driver leaves the store, we will be able to deliver it to you on the same day!
If you won’t be home for the delivery time, we can arrange other ways to get your order to you. Perhaps your work or office? Just let us know what you need! The times listed above aren’t set in stone and if you live in Burnaby for example and need to leave the house at 6 pm, we will try our hardest to deliver to you before 6! Some of our customers like to leave their own insulated bags/cooler boxes outside or with their concierge for us if they won’t be home. This way we can just drop the food off and you don’t need to be home.

Where we do not deliver: If you are interested in deliveries outside our delivery map, drop us a line and let’s see how we can help you and your pets.
Out of City Orders: We regularly ship out non-perishable, non food products worldwide. If you live outside our map area but would like to place an order to be shipped to you, please feel free to contact us by phone or email and we will send you your purchase promptly by Canada Post.
In your email please include your name, address, phone number, and your items requested. Credit card and Paypal are accepted methods of payment.
At True Carnivores we understand that sometimes things happen, with that in mind we are always happy to take back our products and offer a refund or an exchange.
Dry Items: With any dehydrated, freeze-dried, air- dried, or any kind of “dry” products True Carnivores is only able to take back the product if there is %75 or more left in the bag. If less, we will take back the food but no refund will be applied.
Raw Items: With any kind of raw foods we are happy to refund/exchange your product for you in store, the food must not show any signs of thawing and refreezing.
We have a few different ways that we accept returns. We can either pick the product up when we drop off your next order, or you can come down to our lovely store front in Kerrisdale for a quick hello and a refund! It’s that simple.
In the event that you will not be placing another order and wish to return a product, there will be a $5 pick-up fee for Vancouver & Richmond, and a $10 pick-up fee for Burnaby, New West, Ladner,Tsawwassen, North & West Van.
“Oh no! I won’t be home for when my delivery comes? What should I do?” Have no fear, True Carnivores is here… and we come with freezer bags! In the event that you are unable to be home for your delivery True Carnivores offers freezer bags with a $7.50 bag deposit. What this means is that after our driver has dropped your food off – inside the freezer bag- once she returns to our store we will charge your on file CC for each freezer bag that was left behind, which is also 100% refundable.
