Carnivora Lamb Diet Grass-Fed 25lb Box – $6.00/lb

$149.95

Lamb Diet (no veggies) portioned in .5lb patties

*Due to the nature of whole-prey diets, it is normal to see variations in colour and aroma between batches due to seasonal changes and the animal’s diets.*

*Please note: it is normal for goat and lamb products to have a gamey or off-putting scent at certain times of the year. This is normal due to the mating cycle in which the smell is used as an attractant for females (dogs also love it!). The smell is not indicative of meat that has spoiled and is a normal, natural occurrence in whole-prey diets.*

Carnivora Lamb Diet is a whole animal prey diet. It lands on the richer side of the spectrum of proteins and we recommend it especially for dogs and cats who need to gain some weight. Following a whole animal prey model, this meal gives your pet a feast that closely mimics what they would eat in the wild. Choosing this option is ideal for those who may have allergies or sensitivities to certain meats, veggies, or plain old don’t like their greens! Carnivora’s pasture raised Lamb Diet is recommended as part of a rotational diet including other white and red proteins along with tripe and raw bones!

Whole animal prey model: the whole animal carcass – mimicking that which would naturally be found in the wild including all of the best cuts of meat, bones, and organs (not just the leftovers).

Ingredients: Finely ground whole lamb: meat, bones, heart, kidney, liver.

*These patties are cut by hand with a sawblade, which may at times leave cut marks on the surface. As the blade cuts through the frozen product, the friction creates heat and you might find the occasional patty with a “burn mark”, this mainly happens with higher-fat proteins such as chicken, pork or lamb, and is just a result of the fats coming into contact with the hot blade. Care is taken to let the blade cool down between cutting, but occasionally there will be a few patties with these marks. These patties are perfectly safe to feed as the marks are simply caused by heat and friction.
